Vertical Steel Roller Shutter doors are a reliable means of securing an opening and lend themselves to a wide variety of uses from cabinets to warehouse doors.

The basic design has been around for decades, but are still popular. They are stored neatly above the opening and close in side guides with minimal side room required. They are cost effective when installing and should repairs be required, individual slats (laths) can be removed and replaced as necessary.

Manually operated Steel Roller Shutters are counter balanced with helical springs housed within the roller at the top.  Use of these springs as the only means of ‘suspension’ must be complimented with an Anti-Drop device according to current Product Standards- we are presently the only company in the UK which offers a true Counter Balance Spring Sensing Safety Braking System! This has been developed solely to compliment our counterbalanced shutters. You cannot obtain this technology from any other company - this does not mean that we command a big premium for our products to include this device - we are however able to offer you best value.

005: – Roller shutter with an external direct drive “Safedrive” type hollow shaft motor -The motor incorporates the anti drop safety kit. Single Phase motor or High Duty Cycle three phase motor
