Covid-19

Dear Sir / Madam

In the light of recent developments with the spread of Coronavirus internationally, we, like everybody else, have had to consider our personal welfare, also our personnel, our business, the welfare of people in your business and any impact our services could have on your business.

We are reasonably fortunate in that due to the nature of our work and the equipment we come into contact with, it is possible to carry out our works without ever coming in to direct contact with your staff, or your staff coming in to contact with equipment we have worked upon.

Door Installation, Repairs and Service

-We are generally handling equipment where it is not necessary, or possible, for others to come in to contact with afterwards.

-Control panels and associated ancillary equipment such as handles and locks can be sanitised when we leave.

-We have our own equipment to enable works and scissors lifts for access to working heights.

-Work plans and Risk Assessments can be produced remotely.

-Most of our new door products are manufactured by machines/robots with minimal human contact.

-Other products which are delivered to us are left packaged and untouched for up to 3 days, where possible, in line with the latest advice regarding contamination.

-The products which we generally work on are in large open areas or external openings, with good ventilation and minimal proximity to other people

-Use of your welfare facilities can be by arrangement to avoid your personnel

-Antibacterial wipes/gel are kept in our vehicles – we expect you will also have hand wash facilities on site.

-We can confirm that nobody attending your site has travelled through or from the main affected Countries or has knowingly been in contact with anybody who has. Anyone showing any signs of having contracted the virus will be self isolating in any case, in line with Government advice.

Site Surveying

We ask at this time for our customers to assist us where possible in providing information to enable us to produce quotations or order materials. This may take the form of emailing photographs of your requirements, providing serial numbers from existing products and maybe site dimensions. This will be of mutual benefit and allow us to keep personal contact down to a minimum during these uncertain times.

We will continue to provide you with our usual services and backup as normal, unless the situation changes significantly or further advice and guidelines are issued by the British Government.

Yours sincerely

Alan Young

Director
